1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

PROTAKEOFF provides construction quantity takeoff reports generated from architectural drawings (blueprints) submitted by customers. Reports include estimated material quantities across multiple construction trades, with approximate installed cost ranges based on regional market data.

2. ACCURACY DISCLAIMER

All quantities and cost estimates provided by PROTAKEOFF are approximations intended for budgeting and planning purposes only.

Quantities are estimated from architectural drawings and may vary based on:

Field conditions and site-specific factors
Design changes, addenda, or revisions after submission
Contractor methods, means, and preferences
Local code requirements and inspector interpretations
Material availability and supplier specifications
Structural engineering requirements not shown on architectural plans

Cost ranges reflect regional market averages and are not guaranteed pricing. Actual material and labor costs may vary significantly based on market conditions, supplier relationships, project timeline, and scope of work.

Industry-standard waste factors (typically 10–15%) are included in all quantity calculations. Customers are responsible for verifying all quantities and adjusting as needed before purchasing materials or submitting bids. The downloadable Excel report is fully editable for this purpose.

3. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for:

Verifying all quantities against their own measurements and field conditions
Obtaining independent cost estimates from local suppliers and subcontractors
Making their own business decisions regarding bids, purchasing, and construction
Ensuring submitted blueprints are current, complete, and authorized for use

PROTAKEOFF reports are a starting point, not a final bid. We strongly recommend all customers review and adjust quantities before relying on them for purchasing or bidding.

4. PAYMENT AND DELIVERY

All payments are processed through Stripe and are one-time charges per project
Reports are delivered via a private, secure link unique to each project
Full priced packages include a downloadable, editable Excel file
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees

5. REFUND POLICY

Because our reports are generated upon purchase and delivered immediately, all sales are final. If you believe there is a significant error in your report, contact us and we will review and correct it at no additional charge.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Submitted blueprints remain the property of the customer. PROTAKEOFF does not share, distribute, or use customer blueprints for any purpose other than generating the requested takeoff report.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

PROTAKEOFF's liability is limited to the amount paid for the report. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or costs arising from reliance on our estimates, including but not limited to over-ordering, under-ordering, bid losses, or construction delays.
